-Agrestic Music and Arts Festival
A music festival featuring a wide array of genres of local bands and performers in Whitesburg, KY. There will be food vendors, merchandise vendors, crafting booths, local art, fun kids inflatables, and fun games throughout. The festival debut brought in more than 300 spectators with great, live, local musicians headlined by David Tolliver of Halfway to Hazard fame. The festival itself was able to raise $7,000.00 for the structured learning class for autism in Letcher Conuty, KY. We are ready for the next installment with the date of the event spanning over two days. The dates will be May 31 and June 1, 2013. Our headliners this year are Sundy Best and Folk Soul Revival. Basketball Tournament
We are making plans for a 3-on-3 basketball tournament this summer. Let us know if you are interested in helping out. More info will be available soon.
Scavenger Hunt
We are planning a scavenger hunt for Whitesburg, KY at the end of the summer or beginning of fall. This will be a huge hunt incorporating all of Whitesburg and a lot of Letcher County. The grand prize for winning the scavenger hunt will also be well worth it. There are plans of giving away a prize well worth over $1,000. Diabetes Walk
We are working closely with a diabetes specialist in Perry County to host a Diabetes Awareness walk. Diabetes is the leading health risk in the United States and we are excited about being a part of raising awareness for the issue. We are also very excited about branching out of Letcher County to help our neighbors, and growth in our region. For more info check back on our website.
